Healthy food recipes: A sure shot solution for a good healthy life
We always talk about being in good health, or we sometimes (or for some of us it is the case that our health is always in a bad shape) we say that we are not in such a great health. But what exactly is this term ‘health', can we define it properly, or have we ever really pondered over it?
If asked on a normal day, we would probably say the ‘whole well being' or not falling sick is called being in good health. For some of us, health is all about looking good, or even feeling good for that matter. People even talk about being in shape, eating healthy and so on. But are these the definitions of health, or are they mere means to good health. Think again. We, today, confuse means and ends of a thing. Eating right (going for healthy food recipes and products available in the market), exercising, having regular check-ups etc are all means to a good and healthy lifestyle, but not health itself.
Health is actually a state – of both the mind as well as the body, wherein one feels good, and the body is in a good functional state and the metabolism is also right (think of it, if your metabolism is not right, how will you survive, you will have mood swings and get irritable!).
Now, this state is a collective of the surroundings we live in, the environment we are brought up in, our genes etc. and also our social status, lifestyle and all such factors. Lifestyle and social status also matter a lot because not everyone in this world can afford a very healthy lifestyle (this is a very common adage). For instance, due to social inequality, a person may not be able to afford some healthy recipes banana, but may be able to afford some other cheap fruit, but as per their medical requirement, banana would be good for them and required for some deficiency in their bodies, and the like.
Now the question is how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Now this can be done by all of us – exercise – early in the morning, since it helps in releasing all the toxins in the body, and brings a harmony and balance into your body, giving it the energy to go on throughout the day. After this, one may have a light breakfast such as low fat soup recipes.
