Say Goodbye to Belly Fat

We all want to be in great shape, we want to look good in our skinny jeans and be able to look in the mirror and not have to deal with the urge so suck in our bellies. We want that sleek, lean model look, the ability to wear low slung jeans and have that wonderful ‘V' crease coming up, the flare of our hip bones, the subtle demarcations of a six pack. We want people to watch us in wonder, to ask how we got so slender, how we managed to get lean and sexy and make it look so effortless and wonderful. To do that you have to target your belly fat, and that means getting rid of so much of the useless junk we have accumulated in our bodies up until this point. We need to get into great shape, and today's article is the first step for you in doing that. Follow these two pieces of advice, and you soon will be sporting an excellent and great look!

The first thing you need to do is ensure that you are prioritizing the right things when it comes to losing belly fat. Too many people go right to crunches, neglecting the other aspects of healthy living that make a greater impact. So instead of doing your core work first, prioritize your healthy meals and how much time you put into cooking and preparing them. Think of your food as your primary means of losing weight. Then you want to focus on cardio, followed by weight lifting, and finally by core work. Doing crunches all day long won't help you if you can't lose the weight to begin with because you are packing on the pounds with bad nutrition.

Another reason you might be getting a wide middle is because of tummy bloat. While this isn't caused by fat directly, it still causes you to look inflated, and that's as good a reason as any to try and cut it down. One of the main culprits that can cause bloating is salt, something that there is far too much of in our diets. We need to be sure that we are eating as little salt as possible, because that will make us huge. Beware, because salt is in everything, from processed food to soy sauce. Try to use other spices to make your food as tasty, such as cayenne pepper.
